Sometimes the easiest thing in the world to do is to come to church and then go home and “do” nothing at all.
At RiverChurch we believe our faith should be about more than just the one dimensional act of simply going to church.
So that’s why we are challenging you to do something now.
Here you will find a variety of opportunities where you can live out your faith in practical ways; feeding homeless people, volunteering in the community, or preparing for an outreach trip overseas.

One key way to impact our community, is to help the schools in our community be as successful as possible in educating our kids. That’s why RiverChurch has chosen to support Hillcrest Elementary School in a variety of ways. Whether its reading with a student in the Rockin’ Reader Program or volunteering as needed you can do something now to help Hillcrest Elementary School. //Miller Park Monthly Breakfast
Every last Saturday of the month, RiverChurch joins other churches downtown in Miller Park to deliver free breakfast to people who are hungry and have no other reliable source for food. We share responsibilities each month in providing food, drinks, paper products but we also go in person each month to simply serve, smile, and to show that we care. //Israel – Practical Assistance Tour
We’re making plans now for our first international ministry effort by visiting Israel on a Practical Assistance Tour. This trip will combine a short term work project with a few days of touring biblical sites. Four days are set aside to work in either bomb-shelters, holocaust survivor homes, hospitals, immigrant absorption centers and other work sites, the other days are for touring around the Galilee or in the City of Jerusalem. RiverChurch is committed to providing excellent ministry to children in a biblically centered , fun and safe environment that we like to call RiverKidz.
